Israeli Airstrike Targets Terrorists in Gaza

The Israeli military said that it carried out an airstrike in the Gaza Strip that targeted a group of terrorists who were placing explosives along the Israeli-Palestinian border. One terrorist was reported killed in the attack.

Also this week in Israel in the News:

• A string of terrorist attacks were carried out in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on Thursday, with three suicide bombers detonating themselves inside a Starbucks, and two gunman targeting a local police post.
• The Jewish community in France is on the alert after a Jewish teacher in Marseilles was stabbed. Some Jewish leaders are telling Jews not to wear their traditional skull cap – or kippah — in public.
The Fellowship is working with the Israeli Christians Recruitment Forum, headed by Father Gabriel Naddaf, to help fund scholarships for Israeli-Arab Christians.
• In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, The Fellowship is sponsoring a joint celebration with the Adat Shalom Synagogue and the Russell Street Baptist Church in Detroit.
