Islamic Jihad Threaten Attacks on IDF in New Video

While Hamas is the ruling terrorist organization in Gaza, Islamic Jihad continues to pose threats to Israel. The Jerusalem Post's Maayan Groisman reports that yesterday, Islamic Jihad posted a video that threatened IDF soldiers on the Gaza border:

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, operating in Gaza, released a propaganda video Tuesday night threatening IDF soldiers in response to the recent "Israeli escalation" in the Gaza Strip.

The minute and a half long video, titled "We will show you a shadow of fear," presents four fighters in the Quds Brigades conducting observation of IDF jeep stationed behind Israel's border with the Gaza Strip and preparing to launch advanced Sager rockets on the jeep.

Although the fighters did not target the jeep, the video ends with a message translated to Hebrew for Israel: "We will show you a shadow of fear." This message seemingly aims to show the IDF that Islamic Jihad is at arm's length from attacking IDF soldiers.

On Friday night, Israel shut down the Islamic Jihad TV station in the West Bank, Palestine Today, for inciting terrorism against Israelis.

Also over the weekend, four rockets were launched at southern Israel from the Gaza Strip. The IDF responded to the rockets fire by targeting Hamas facilities with air strikes. A ten-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister were killed in the IAF airstrikes.
