Stand for Israel is suspending activity Wednesday, May 31, for Shavuot, the Jewish holiday also known as Pentecost. We’ll be back on Thursday, June 1 — and rest assured, if any critically important developments related to Israel come up over the weekend, we’ll be here to let you know about them.

Thousands upon thousands of Israelis marched around Jerusalem's Old City while waving flags and singing, celebrating fifty years since the city's reunification during the Six-Day War.
Jerusalem's 50th Jerusalem Day events include festive ones such as a Flag Dance Parade and special Knesset session, but solemn moments, as well, such as memorials for Ethiopian olim (immigrants) and for soldiers killed during the Six-Day War.
