Four Israelis Injured in West Bank Shooting

Four Israelis were injured in a shooting in the West Bank, north of Ramallah, on Monday night, The Times of Israel reports:

Three victims were in serious condition and were airlifted to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, and a fourth suffered minor injuries and received treatment on site from paramedics.

Israel Defense Forces soldiers were on the scene and searching the vicinity for suspected perpetrators.

The circumstances of the incident, which took place off of Highway 60, the main north-south artery running through the West Bank, weren’t immediately clear. Initial reports indicated that the three were riding in a car which was shot at by a passing vehicle. Photos posted on social media claiming to be of the victims’ vehicle showed the car riddled with multiple bullet holes.

Please join us in praying for the safety of those in the area and for the victims’ recovery.

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
