Female Terrorist Attempts to Stab Israeli Officer at Jerusalem Checkpoint

Israeli security forces thwarted an attempted stabbing outside of Jerusalem today, The Jerusalem Post reports, as they neutralized a female terrorist who tried to attack an officer at a checkpoint:

A female Palestinian attempted to stab an Israeli security officer at a checkpoint north of Jerusalem in Ras Bidu on Monday, according to initial reports.

Border Police officers at the scene fired at the suspected terrorist and "neutralized" her.

According to initial reports, the assailant arrived at the scene and brandished a knife in attempt to strike one of the Border Police officers at the checkpoint.
