AP Uncovers Secret Deal between UN, Iran on Nuclear Inspections

The Associated Press discovered a secret deal between Iran and the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency that would allow the Iranians to inspect one of their own military sites. The U.S. and Israel suspect that the Parchin military site is used for nuclear research.

Also this week in Israel in the News:

• Iran also has entered into talks with Russia over arms trades, with Iranians announcing they will purchase surface-to-air missiles from Russia.
• Despite growing fears of anti-Semitism in Europe, a pro-Israel event in Paris was held without incident.
• The terror group Islamic Jihad launched four rockets into northern Israel from Syria, prompting a quick artillery response from the Israel Defense Forces.
• African American church communities are rallying to support their long-time supporter and ally, Israel.

This week’s Israel in the News Perspective features The Fellowship’s Founder and President Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein on the historic ties between the African American church and Israel.

Passover a Sacred Time to Save Lives

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
