Thousands of Muslim worshipers returned to the Temple Mount Thursday, with violent clashes erupting at the holy site. Earlier, Muslim leaders had called for a boycott of the Temple Mount in protest of metal detectors installed by the Israelis. The security measures were installed after two Israeli police officers were killed by terrorists on the Temple Mount.

  • For the first time since 2014, two terrorist rockets from Gaza landed in Israel within a 24-hour period. Both rockets landed in open land, and no one was injured.
