US House Unanimously Passes Taylor Force Act

Last year, an American veteran named Taylor Force was killed by a Palestinian terrorist while in Israel. Now, our friends at JNS report, American legislation named for him has been unanimously passed - legislation that would end aid to Palestinians if payments made to terrorists do not end:

The House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday unanimously passed the Taylor Force Act, which would cut U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) if the PA does not halt it payments to convicted terrorists and their families.

“Since 2003, it has been Palestinian law to reward Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails with a monthly paycheck,” Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said in a statement. “Palestinian leadership also pays the families of Palestinian prisoners and suicide bombers. These policies incentivize terrorism.”

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee passed the bill in August and the Trump administration voiced its “strong support” for the legislation in September.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) introduced the Taylor Force Act in September 2016.

The PA’s terror payments currently total about $300 million annually...

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
