  • Prior to leaving office, former President Obama released more than $221 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority.
  • Earlier this week, an IDF tank shelled a Hamas outpost in retaliation for being fired upon along Israel’s border with Gaza.
  • The Fellowship has donated funds to renovate a public park in Haifa, which had been devastated by wildfires late last year. The fires caused an estimated $520 million in damage.
  • Friday, Jan. 27, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi death camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau. The day, established by the U.N. in 2005, honors the memory of the millions of victims of the Holocaust as well as Holocaust survivors.
