As Donald Trump arrived in the Holy Land today on his first presidential trip to Israel, his visit is making history in many ways. The Jerusalem Post gives us just three historic landmarks of Trump's visit to Israel:

President Donald Trump is the first president to visit Israel so early in his presidency. Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all visited Israel at some point during their stints as US presidents.

Trump is the first sitting president to visit the Western Wall. Other presidents have stayed away from the Western Wall out of concern that doing so would imply de facto recognition of Israeli sovereignty over territory that came under Israeli control during the Six Day War...
