Photo Friday: There May Yet Be Hope

IDF Lion of the Valley infantry (Photo: flickr/IDF)

"Let him sit alone in silence,
for the LORD has laid it on him.
Let him bury his face in the dust—
    there may yet be hope.
(Lamentations 3:28-29)

In this photo, members of the IDF's Lion of the Valley light infantry battalion train alongside the Israeli military's artillery corps, assuring the Jewish people that whoever might attack them, there will always be hope, as God's hand of protection will be upon them. Shabbat shalom, friends.
