Photo Friday: The Fountain Gate

The Fellowship  |  March 15, 2019

Old stairs next to a walkway and the side of a mountain.

“The Fountain Gate was repaired by Shallun son of Kol-Hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah. He rebuilt it, roofing it over and putting its doors and bolts and bars in place. He also repaired the wall of the Pool of Siloam, by the King’s Garden, as far as the steps going down from the City of David.” (Nehemiah 3:15)

Here is the Pool of Siloam in Jerusalem. Mentioned above in the Old Testament, it is also mentioned in the New Testament as the place where Jesus heals the man who was born blind in the Gospel of John. Biblical history is all around in the Holy Land! Shabbat shalom, friends.
