Photo Friday: His Faithfulness Continues Through All Generations

Four generations of the Rosenfeld family on Kibbutz Degania, October 1, 1945 (Photo: Zoltan Kluger/GPO)

"It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture...
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations." (Psalm 100:3-5)

Degania was the first kibbutz (collective farming community) in Israel, established in 1909. In this photo taken there in 1945 - still three year's before the modern state of Israel's independence - four faithful generations of the Rosenfeld family pose in the Holy Land God gave their family and their people, for all generations. Shabbat shalom, friends.
