Photo Friday: Bear Fruit

Pomegranate tree in Israel (Photo: flickr/scottgunn)

"Then God said, 'Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.' And it was so." (Genesis 1:11)

Just as God said, the Holy Land flourishes and bears fruit — both physical and spiritual — as seen on this beatiful pomegranate tree.

This Monday at sundown, the Jewish people begin Tu B'Shvat, the Jewish New Year of the Trees. Take our quiz to see how much you know about this joyous celebration of God's creation. Shabbat shalom, friends.
