“I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind.” (Genesis 9:15)

As the Jewish people prepare for Passover, the animals who call the Jewish state home are taking part in the holiday festivities, too! Here, an orangutan from the Ramat Gan Safari Park near Tel Aviv enjoys a piece of matzah, the traditional unleavened bread eaten to mark the Israelites’ hasty and miraculous exodus from Egypt.
