Photo Friday: A Great Light

Sunrise over Sea of Galilee (Photo: IFCJ)

"...in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan—

The people walking in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
    a light has dawned.
You have enlarged the nation
    and increased their joy;
they rejoice before you..."
(Isaiah 9:1-3)

This month as we work to provide for Christians suffering from persecution because of their faith, let's also take a look at some sites that are important to Christians. Here is the Sea of Galilee — where Jesus lived and preached — at sunrise, as seen during The Fellowship's recent Historic Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Shabbat shalom, friends.
