Netanyahu Meets with Putin in Moscow

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin just days before Putin will hold a summit with U.S. President Trump. Israel wants Iranian forces out of Syria, hoping Russia could intervene in exchange for the U.S. lifting sanctions against them.

  • Meanwhile, the Hamas terror group is redeploying its military forces along Israel’s southern border in what could be preparations for war against Israel.
  • U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham recently said regarding the upcoming meeting with Putin and Trump that Russia could not be trusted to implement any agreement if the Iranians are involved.
  • For the second consecutive year, Israel has been ranked as the world’s eighth most powerful country. It also was ranked in the top ten of up-and-coming economies.
  • An Israeli unmanned spacecraft is expected to land on the moon in February 2019. If successful, Israel will become one of three nations who have achieved such a landing
