Israel Blasts Jordan for Supporting Jerusalem Terrorist

As Stand for Israel reported this weekend, an Israeli policeman was stabbed and wounded by a terrorist, who the officer then shot and neutralized. Now, as our friends at JNS report, the nation of Jordan – where the stabber was from – has shown its own insanity by calling the self-defense shooting a “heinous crime” and labeling the attacker a “martyr”:
In a video of the attack, 57-year-old Mohammad Abdullah Salim al-Kasji, a Jordanian visiting Israel on a tourist visa, is seen stabbing an Israeli police officer in Jerusalem’s Old City. The policeman—who was stabbed multiple times in his upper torso—struggled with the terrorist, before shooting and killing him.
A dispute between Jordan and Israel erupted following the incident, with Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani saying killing the terrorist was a “terrible crime” and demanding an explanation from Israel.
“It is outrageous to hear the Jordanian government’s speaker support the terror attack which occurred today in Jerusalem’s Old City,” said a statement released by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, adding, “It’s time Jordan stopped playing both sides of the game. Just like Israel condemns terror attacks in Jordan, Jordan must condemn terror attacks in Israel. Terror is terror…”
