IDF Strikes Hamas Terror Targets in Gaza

On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces carried out airstrikes against Hamas underground terror infrastructure in northern Gaza. The strikes come in response to an arson attack on an Israeli military position by Palestinians who infiltrated Israel from Gaza, and also to the ongoing attempts to harm Israel using drones and fiery kites.

  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will do all it can to prevent Iran from moving lethal weapons closer to Israel’s border in what he believes is Iran’s plan to destroy Israel.
  • Following its withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, the U.S. has pledged to coordinate with its allies on keeping pressure on Iran to stop all its nuclear threats.
  • Paraguay became the third country to move its embassy to Jerusalem, following the U.S.’s lead in recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
  • The Fellowship’s founder and President Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein recently attended the dedication of a new underground hospital command center in Haifa, which is designed to withstand rocket and chemical attacks.
