Last week, it was reported that Israel had carried out airstrikes on an Iranian military base in Syria. Now, Israel Hayom reports that the IDF has confirmed that it did, in fact, strike the base, after an armed Iranian drone incursion into Israel "opened a new period" of conflict between the nations:
