Two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers were injured in a car-ramming attack earlier this week in the northern West Bank. The attack happened just after 3 a.m. when three Palestinian men drove their vehicle into a group of soldiers who were stopped alongside the road.

  • The two largest terror groups in Gaza, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, said this week that they are getting support for their efforts from Iran and other countries around the world, confirming Israel’s long-held suspicions of Iran’s influence in the region.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also serves as Defense Minister, signed an order this week declaring that the Hamas-run Palestinian TV network, Al-Aqsa, is a terrorist organization.
  • In Syria, the fight against ISIS is nearing its end, with the last ISIS-held area in eastern Syria on the brink of collapse.
  • Israel is at the forefront of modern medicine with the opening of the I-PEARLS Center of Excellence at the Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv, which specializes in lasers designed to alleviate scarring in child burn victims.
