Bibi Meets US Ambassador Friedman

Yesterday Stand for Israel reported on the arrival to the Holy Land of new American ambassador David Friedman. Arutz Sheva's Gary Willig reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Friedman and said that the U.S. envoy's "visit to Kotel was a strong gesture of solidarity":

The Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Friedman for visiting the Western Wall as his first stop after arriving in Israel yesterday.

"There was no other place to go," Friedman said.

"It was a strong gesture of solidarity," Netanyahu said of his visit to the Western Wall.

"We look forward to receiving President Trump, and we want to work with you and the president these coming years," Netanyahu added.
