Take a Stand Against Evil

Israel US Flag

September 13, 2017

Dear Friend of Israel,

No country is immune to the scourge of radical Islamist terrorism – a fact Americans remembered recently as they observed the somber anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Sadly, the rest of the world is coming to know what Israel has known for years: There can be no compromise with those who practice this murderous ideology.

Terrorists receive funding from nations that support their cause. Iran’s record as one of the leading state sponsors of terror is well-documented. But another nation has come to the forefront recently — the tiny but very wealthy Middle Eastern nation of Qatar.

Though it is supposedly a strategic ally of the U.S., Qatar has supported a number of radical Islamist terrorist groups, like Hamas, the Taliban, and the Muslim Brotherhood. It recently restored diplomatic relations with Iran. Qatar’s state-run broadcaster, Al-Jazeera, provides an anti-Israel, anti-Western platform that gives extremist voices much greater resonance in the region.

Now, incredibly, Qatar has hired a U.S. public relations firm in an attempt to improve its image. But no PR makeover can hide the truth: Qatar’s actions have fueled radicalism and greatly harmed the cause of Middle East peace. Qatar needs to be held accountable, as do all nations that support terror.

It is time to take a stand. Our Stop Terror Now campaign is raising support from good people like you who cherish the principles of freedom and democracy. Today, I urge all friends of Israel and the U.S. to go to our Stop Terror Now page and send a letter to President Trump and Congress encouraging them to pressure terror-sponsoring governments to stop funding terrorist groups.

It is said that evil only triumphs when good people do nothing. Thank you, my friends, for taking a stand against evil by joining our friends who have already sent millions of messages to U.S. government officials telling them it is time to Stop Terror Now!

With prayers for shalom, peace,
