The Fellowship celebrated Hanukkah with new olim (immigrants) from Ukraine who just arrived in Israel on a Fellowship Freedom Flight! They lit a menorah in the airport to observe the special Jewish holiday and can’t wait to continue celebrating all the Jewish holidays in the Holy Land!

Because of the social assistance The Fellowship provides Israel and Jewish people around the world, as well as the bridges it builds between Christians and Jews, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein has been named the 23rd most influential Jew by The Jerusalem Post.
Rabbi Simon L. “Sy” Eckstein, a beloved Canadian-Jewish leader and renowned psychologist and authority in the field of gerontology, passed away at his Jerusalem home today, Sept. 24. He was 96. He was the father of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, the founder and president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
