When Maurice Sendak Designed a Holocaust Opera

We have often heard of the tragic children's opera, Brundibar, that was performed by young inmates at the Theresienstadt concentration camp before they were sent to Auschwitz and murdered. Now our friends at Jewniverse bring us this video of the opera as designed by the beloved children's writer and illustrator, Maurice Sendak.
