Stabbed Soldier Receives Blessings From The Fellowship

Dvir, 19, bravely serves as an Israeli soldier, and is stationed at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Shizafon Base. Sadly, on October 8, 2015 he was stabbed by a terrorist in the liver, lungs, and diaphragm. The attack left him in serious condition, and he was rushed to HaEmek Medical Center in Afula for care.

Dvir needed multiple operations to fix the damage the terrorists inflicted. After 10 days in the hospital with constant care, the doctors discharged him. But he will still need outpatient therapy.

On behalf of The Fellowship, staff member Safwan Marich distributed a $1,000 grant to the soldier and his family to help pay for the unexpected costs of Dvir’s hospital stays and medical care. Dvir knows he wouldn’t be able to afford this needed care without The Fellowship.

“I’d like to give a huge thanks to Rabbi EcksteinFellowship donors, and Fellowship staff for this grant that will help so much.”

We continue to pray for those suffering from terror across Israel and trust in God that he may bring peace.
