Rabbi Eckstein Speaks at Patrick Henry College

The interview starts at around 10 ½ minutes into the recording above.

Earlier this week, Rabbi Eckstein spoke at Patrick Henry College, a Christian college in Purcellville, Virginia, as part of their Patrick Henry College Presents: Newsmakers Interview Series with Marvin Olasky. Previous guests in this series have included Secretary of Education Bill Bennett, Dr. Ben Carson, as well as several members of Congress and bestselling authors.

Olasky, who is a Distinguished Chair in Journalism and Public Policy at Patrick Henry College and the editor-in-chief of WORLD magazine, interviewed Rabbi Eckstein about the work of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and his new biography, The Bridge Builder. A Q&A session with students followed.

Rabbi Eckstein spoke of the importance of Christian support for Israel, calling Bible-believing Christians the Jewish people’s best friends, and of the challenges of building bridges in today’s polarized society. “The problem today is that the committed lack tolerance and the tolerant lack commitment,” he said. Watch the interview in its entirety above.

Passover a Sacred Time to Save Lives

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
