Project Spotlight: IDF Recreation Centers

The Fellowship  |  May 11, 2015

Yael recently visited a recreation center that The Fellowship built on an Israeli military outpost, providing a much-needed place for the soldiers to relax at the end of the day.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers are often stationed at these outposts for weeks before leaving on missions, and most of these outposts have no social activities available. While putting their lives on the line to protect Israel and her people, the soldiers need a place where they can relax, watch TV, play pool, read a book, have a cup of coffee, or unwind with friends in a pleasant environment.

The Fellowship is dedicated to fund the renovating and equipping of IDF recreation centers at the 273 military outposts throughout Israel, so that all the IDF soldiers will know they are supported and loved by Christians and Jews around the world.
