Project Spotlight: Emergency Security Aid to French Jews

Claude Sarrabia

In the wake of the deadly ISIS terror attacks in Paris last month, The Fellowship has launched a new emergency security program for the French-Jewish communities in France. In addition, we have renewed our offer to help French Jews make aliyah (immigrate to Israel).

The Fellowship is providing funding of more than $86,000 to 25 synagogues and Chabad Jewish schools to beef up security measures, such as adding security guards and installing building security systems. The Fellowship is also considering other steps to improve security for the entire French-Jewish community.

The Fellowship has allocated more than $1 million in security support to Chabad institutions worldwide in recent years following previous terrorist attacks, including the vicious series of coordinated shootings and bombing attacks in Mumbai, India, in November 2008.

Passover a Sacred Time to Save Lives

Help the Unseen

You can heed the biblical mandate “not to turn away from your own flesh and blood” (Isaiah 58:7) and provide a needy elderly Jew, like Olga, with food, heating fuel, warm clothes, and blankets this winter. Every day is important as the harsh cold winds descend upon the former Soviet Union. Please prayerfully consider giving your best and most generous gift to The Fellowship today for this lifesaving work.
