Let's Make Potato Latkes for Hanukkah!

The Jewish celebration of Hanukkah will begin this Sunday, December 6th, and many Jewish families will begin to prepare special Hanukkah treats!

During this time, Jews remember a miracle that happened many years ago. When Jews long ago had run out of oil to light the eternal flame, a holy symbol that God is always present, they trusted in God and he kept the flame burning until they could find more oil. Because of this special miracle, many Jews prepare fried foods that use oil, like potato pancakes.

Our friends at The Nosher created a helpful video so you can make the perfect potato latkes and celebrate with family and friends!
