Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein visited Eilat, Israel, to attend the dedication ceremony of the newest Fellowship House Youth Center. This Fellowship House will keep youth engaged in meaningful experiences. They will also receive regular guidance from mentors, so they may have a bright future ahead of them.
The Fellowship proudly supports Susan’s House, an organization that helps at risk youth in Israel develop professional skills to rise above their desperate situations. Many of these youths come from disadvantaged homes or have parents who abuse or neglect them. But at the Fellowship-supported Susan’s House, these at risk young adults are taught a new vocation, so they can one day enter the workforce with confidence. In the meantime, this Fellowship-supported organization also provides them with food and other basic needs.
Jerusalem Day is a very personal holiday for both Rabbi Eckstein and his daughter Yael.
Coming to us from the Holy Land on the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem's reunification, Yael teaches about the miracles of the Six-Day War in 1967 that brought the Holy City back to the Jewish people.
