A new online exhibit, “Last Letters from the Holocaust: 1942,” is available today, April 24, to honor Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day. These ‘last letters’ show the final farewell postcards that Jews mailed to their loved ones right before they were sent away to their deaths during the Holocaust.

This morning, Israelis across the Holy Land stood for two minutes of silence to commemorate Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and to remember the six millions Jews murdered in the Holocaust.
A new museum of natural history – showing a collection of over 5 million specimens – will open to the public this summer reports No Camels. The best part? This impressive, 8,000-square-meter building is shaped just like Noah’s Ark. It will be one of the first of its kind for natural history research in the Middle East.
Remembering Holocaust survivors is important, but it is not enough. We must act now to help the last remaining Holocaust survivors who are living in poverty.
