During our Winter Warmth efforts this year, Yael Eckstein brought warmth to the elderly this winter by delivering blankets to their homes. In total, The Fellowship delivered high-quality down comforters to 7,330 beneficiaries of the With Dignity and Fellowship program.
The young women who participate in the Fellowship-supported Yemin Orde Pre-Army Leadership Program for Girls, which is a program that prepares young women for successful army service, visited the elderly on the Jewish New Year of the Trees, or Tu B’Shvat, to plant herbs together. “Thank you! You made the holiday!” said one of the elderly participants.
The Fellowship’s Ami Farkas recently made a project visit to ELEM, the Fellowship-supported center for homeless youth with locations in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The shelters provide aid to homeless young women and men and saves them from destitution, hunger, and neglect.
