The Fellowship’s Azimut program is a lifeline for Ethiopian young adults stuck in an endless cycle of poverty. Through this program, we provide funding for young adults who want to study at Hadassah Medical Center’s School of Dentistry in Jerusalem to become dental hygienists or dental assistants.
The Fellowship funds activities at 104 elderly clubs that are located throughout Israel. Elderly spend time socializing with friends and volunteers – and sometimes they take trips off site, like to Camp for a Day!
Recently, The Fellowship organized an outing to the beach for homebound elderly in the city of Kiryat Gat, Israel. “Tears flowed from my eyes all morning as I sat next to Shmuel in the water, and he told me of his difficult life,” said a Fellowship volunteer. “He spoke of his childhood, his marriage, and his being alone. He expressed such joy and thanks for this moment.”
While Christian youth in Israel are not obligated to enlist in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), many still choose to serve because they love Israel and take pride in protecting their country. Find out how The Fellowship supports these true heroes of the Holy Land.
