When fifth grader Rose Calvillo started studying the Holocaust in school, she learned about the Holocaust Museum Houston’s Butterfly Project, which is a global project to remember the 1.5 million children murdered in the Holocaust by making handmade butterflies to honor each child. Calvillo decided to bring this project to her school.
