Connecting Israel's Innovation to the World

Crowd-Made-in-Israel (Crowdmii) is a new website that highlights the work of Israeli start-ups seeking to make a positive impact on the world, from advances in the fields of medicine and education to technology, cyber security, and environmentalism. While it is similar to a crowdfunding site, offering people interested in these start-ups the chance to help fund their development, the site also seeks to raise awareness of Israel’s rich innovations – especially for pro-Israel supporters seeking to offer a positive image of the Holy Land to refute those in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement.Crowdmii’s CEO Assaf Luxembourg, who's also an Israeli activist, said, “Crowdmii as just another crowdfunding platform is not our main goal; the main issue here is our vision – generating a new relationship between Israel and its supporters around the world. . . We wish to provide better ammunition for those who fight in the fronts of the war for Israel’s name over the world.” Read more about this new company at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
