Elisabeth participates in The Fellowship’s With Dignity and Fellowship program, which provides help with food, medicine, and companionship for Israel’s impoverished elderly.
A Holocaust survivor, Elisabeth moved to Israel from Hungary in 1960. She is now suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other health complications, which make her totally dependent on nursing care.
Last month was her 101st birthday! For this special occasion, the With Dignity and Fellowship coordinator in her city, Racheli Muler, made a special visit to Elisabeth and brought her flowers.
The following thank-you letter was sent by Elisabeth’s daughter, Eva, who lives in another city.
Please send this letter to The Fellowship on behalf of my mother and me!
I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU! Thank you to The Fellowship and a special thank you to you, Mrs. Racheli Muler.
My mother, Elisabeth, just celebrated her 101st birthday! She is a Holocaust survivor, who for the past years has been in need of 24/7 assistance due to her medical condition and extreme old age. Thus, the blessing of reaching old age carries with it a lot of hardship and complexity.
The assistance of The Fellowship and Racheli's personal touch are priceless. Just as an example, Racheli brought my mother a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her birthday. I can't describe how this simple gesture moved my mother and me. We felt that there's someone else besides our family who is concerned, takes care, and lends a helping hand and a supporting shoulder.
I would like to extend my mother's and my gratitude to all of you at The Fellowship!
