Watch: Beer Sheva, from a Biblical Town to a Modern City

The Israeli city of Beer Sheva, often translated as Beersheba in the Bible, was traversed by the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), by Israel’s first king, Saul, and by the prophet Elijah. It was also home to the tribe of Simeon. It is the largest city in the Negev Desert, and today is a thriving modern city.
