A supermodel, a successful businesswoman, a mother, and a Christian. Kathy Ireland can be called all of these things. She is also an advocate for and an ally of Israel.
Kathy's career as a model began when she was a teenager. Successfully modeling throughout the 1980s and 1990s, she retired to focus on her family and her business, Kathy Ireland Worldwide (kiWW). Marrying in 1988, Kathy and her husband have three children and are devout Christians. Kathy's company, which focuses on clothing and home items, has grown to $2 billion in annual sales.
Because of her faith and her success, Kathy is able to do much good. She is an active philanthropist, especially with projects that benefit children. Her support of Israel is also noteworthy. Kathy is outspoken in her support of the Jewish state - she has spoken at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and has been given awards for her activism. In addition, she has been an ambassador for an Israeli hospital and has filmed a documentary on injured IDF soldiers and Israeli victims of terrorism.
We salute Kathy Ireland for her success, for the example she sets as a mother and a Christian, and for her advocacy and support for Israel!
