We always love hearing from our Fellowship friends, but this letter from a longtime donor is addressed to you, too! As we enter a new ministry year, we pray you will join David in supporting our lifesaving ministry.
Over seven years ago, The Fellowship gave me the honor of joining their charity. I am a Southern Baptist Christian and wanted to do my part to bless Israel. God made a covenant with Abraham to create a special and chosen people, Israel, and from this promise would spring forth many generations that endure to this day. I also wanted to give back and honor God for all he has done in my life.
I was impressed with The Fellowship’s efforts to feed the hungry of Israel, give out critical supplies and medications to the needy, and bring Jews from around the world to their spiritual homeland. This is one of Israel’s largest charity organizations.
I, along with my mother, started writing checks to The Fellowship to buy $25 food boxes to feed a hungry Jewish person. Later, I had the bank automatically withdraw my contributions from my account. Eventually, by God’s blessings, I set up a $5,000 Charitable Gift Annuity. I don’t share this to brag; the great God we all serve enabled me to do this for my Israeli brothers and sisters.
I, too, consider Israel my spiritual homeland, and Rabbi Eckstein and his daughter Yael Eckstein have become my friends and spiritual supporters.
I highly encourage everyone to support The Fellowship. Together we can increase the blessings to the Jewish nation. God will look down from heaven and not only bless the Jewish nation and its people but will bless you and your family beyond measure. As God promised Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you” (Genesis 12:3).
