When "This Is Your Life" Featured a Holocaust Survivor

In 1953, the NBC reality show "This Is Your Life" turned its lens on the story of Hanna Bloch-Kohner. She was the first unknown person to be featured on the show, but she’d lived through an event that was quite known: the Holocaust. The episode was at times uncomfortable, moving, and even funny, and it offered a unique look at the impact of the horrors of the Holocaust on an individual life. Today it serves to help us all obey the well-known Holocaust rallying cry: “Never Forget!”
