Project Spotlight: Renovations at Neve Michael Children’s Home

The Fellowship-funded Neve Michael Children’s Home in Pardes Hana, Israel, gives neglected and abused Israeli children a safe place to call home. They are provided with food, clothing, schooling, and personal attention from caring, loving house parents – something that has been lacking in their young lives.

The children are matched with loving ‘adoptive’ parents and these parents dedicate their lives to parenting not only their own children, but also the children living at Neve Michael. They all live together in homes at the children’s village.

Thanks to our wonderful donors, one of the oldest homes at the Fellowship-supported Neve Michael, which was in desperate need of repair, was recently renovated! Now the home has more open spaces, which has turned this once dull and cramped home into a bright, welcoming space for the children. Additionally, two new rooms for after-school activities were added.

The Israeli government doesn’t fund the renovation or construction of building for orphans, so we are so grateful to our donors who stepped in to provide these beautiful children with a safe home.

Now, 30 children, who could not have survived on their own, have a future full of promise at the Fellowship-supported Neve Michael Children’s Home.
