Project Spotlight: Ohr Simcha

Take a look inside one of The Fellowship’s latest renovation projects to support Israeli orphans! The Fellowship-supported Ohr Simcha orphanage near Tel Aviv, now has two new beautiful group homes thanks to our wonderful donors.

This means total of 24 boys (12 in each home), will be rescued from lives of abandonment, abuse, or neglect. All boys at Ohr Simcha have been removed by court order from abusive or dysfunctional parents, but will now grow up in a safe environment, along with loving “adoptive” parents. This family atmosphere, as well as the provided food, clothing, and education, helps these boys mature into responsible and productive young adults.

Zev Slavin, executive director of Ohr Simcha, takes us on a tour of one of the homes in which 12 boys and their “adoptive” parents have been living since the beginning of the school year. It is an absolutely stunning home that includes everything necessary for these boys to thrive.
