Project Spotlight: Illuminating in Fellowship

Hanukkah elderly Israel (Photo: Olivier Fitoussi)

Fellowship volunteers brought light, warmth, and companionship to the elderly and Holocaust survivors throughout Israel this Hanukkah season through the Illuminating in Fellowship project! Together, they lit menorah candles, bringing some comfort to the lonely.

This year volunteers visited hundreds of elderly people who don’t have family and friends to celebrate with during this special time of year. Typically, the volunteers are families with children who bring joy to the elderly they visit. The Fellowship knows how important it is for the elderly to know they’re not alone, especially during the holidays, and this is the kind of care our donors make possible.
