Prayer Alert: Bridge in Florida Collapses

A pedestrian bridge near Miami, Florida, has collapsed, and multiple casualties are expected:

The bridge, scheduled to be completed in 2019, collapsed atop an unknown number of people and cars underneath. Police quickly closed the road. It is not known how many people may have been injured in the collapse, which was clearly a major failure of a on-going project not expected to be completed until early 2019.

The Bible tells us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Please pray for all those affected by this tragedy – that those injured will be swiftly healed, that those who have lost loved ones will be comforted, and that first responders will be kept safe as they work tirelessly to rescue those in distress.
