Hope for Holocaust Survivors in Need

Chaya (Photo: IFCJ)

Chaya, a holocaust survivor, and her husband were longtime beneficiaries of the With Dignity and Fellowship program, which brings aid and comfort to the elderly in Israel. Last year, Chaya’s husband passed away. Thankfully, The Fellowship stepped in to help – and, right away, we noticed her ceiling was falling apart, so we sent a volunteer company to fix her up her home free of charge.

Because of the kindness she received from The Fellowship, Chaya wrote a beautiful thank-you note:

Shalom, everyone. My name is Chaya. I’m 75 years old and I was widowed a year ago. My husband was a very old man and we couldn't repair or fix the house. It has only gotten worse. It's like living in a stable.

These angels came and offered their help. Of course, I greeted them with open arms and tears of joy. I thank God that there are people who are willing to help Holocaust survivors and the elderly who cannot help themselves.

Learn how you can help Holocaust survivors in Israel and around the world today.
