G’mar Tov from The Fellowship

Shofar and Torah (photo: istockphoto/tovfla)

Tomorrow is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and the most sacred day on the Hebrew calendar. This is a time to wish Jewish friends "G'mar Tov," or "good finish" in Hebrew. This expresses your wish that the person be inscribed and sealed in the Book of Life for a good year.

In honor of the holiday, we’ll suspend activity on the Bridge blog, and return with fresh content on Thursday, October 13.

In the meantime, learn more about Yom Kippur in our special collection of resources on the holiday. And since Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement, we have prepared a special Limmud study on the concept of Atonement. Download that for free now
