This past July, 8-year-old Valeria undertook a very big change in her life. Along with her mother, father, and 2-year-old sister Anastasia, Valeria boarded a Fellowship Freedom Flight that carried the Jewish family from the former Soviet Union to their biblical and historic home, Israel!
The family had arrived in the Holy Land, but like so many new olim (immigrants), they were struggling to resettle in a new and very different place from the one they had left. About a month ago, Fellowship workers realized that Valeria’s family could use some help as they began their new lives. And so The Fellowship began to help.
One volunteer has already helped the family a lot, collecting donations of children's games and beds for Valeria and Anastasia. The volunteer also able obtained a bus pass for Valeria to use for her rides to school.
But then the volunteer let us know that Valeria, who is in third grade, needed a computer for her school work, but that her the family had no computer in their home. So with the help of yet another Fellowship volunteer, Valeria now has a computer so that she can live and learn while adjusting to her new life in the Holy Land. This precious little girl and her family are grateful to The Fellowship and our donors for all the help they're receiving.
