10 Must-See Fountains in Israel

When’s the last time you stood by a water fountain in a major city to appreciate the view? Our friends at Israel21c show us the 10 best fountains to see throughout Israel in their new video.

Check out the description of the first fountain on their list below, and view the entire list here.

The biggest fountain in Israel — spread over 1,500 meters, with 400 colored LED lights and 350 jets spraying as high as 30 meters – is located beside the skate park in Eilat, Israel’s southern resort city.

The Musical Fountain, which opened in 2015, features a six-minute audiovisual spectacle every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 8:30 and 9:30.

“This unique fountain is the largest in Israel, similar to those in leading cities such as Barcelona, Las Vegas and Prague. Projects of this nature serve as a magnet for tourists and we hope that this fountain will indeed be a tourist gem and a focus for visitors and tourists,” the Tourism Ministry explained to ISRAEL21c before the opening.

Like Teddy Fountain in Jerusalem (see below), the fountain is also a refreshing spot to play during the day. Adults and kids are encouraged to run through the shooting water jets.
